Cessna 172M standard range LEFT fuel tank with the welded neck. Very good overall condition. It has a Flint Aero Aux tank pick up which has been capped off. The base of the aux tank pick up has a good deal of putty at the base of the pick up, see photos. The vent tube is bent down approximately 15 degrees and is without damage, see photos. Otherwise no significant dents or creases. It does have a good deal of surface pitting, see photos. All the welds appear to be in good condition.
This tank was the transition tank from the single fuel pick up with screw in necks to the N model tank with dual fuel pick ups and only has 1975 to 1976 application. 21 gallon total, 19 gallons useable fuel. These tanks cost $7,200 new.
