I have two Hartzell HC-83V20-2B and HC-83V20-2BL/V8433N 3-blade propeller hubs in very good condition. They were overhauled with yellow tags in 1986, and then stored. Logbooks were partially restored, see yellow tag photo. More photos coming soon.
The party I obtained them from swears they came from a Scan Widgeon he disassembled. That would make the application for the Lycoming R670 6 cylinder radial engine producing 300 H.P. I have no idea. Another possible application for the hubs is a 350 H.P. Piper Chieftain LTIO-540-J2BD engine. To make matters more confusing the Hartzell book shows that these hubs are for a regular Widgeon G44, or G44A utilizing the GO-435-C2B 260 H.P. engine.
